2. Use License. a. The materials found on the Site are for non-commercial viewing only. 3. Refunds for online courses. There will be no refunds for any deposits or payments made to Tapovan Tamas for any online events or online courses sold on or through the Site. All sales of this type are final.

These terms and conditions and any other legal notices, policies and guidelines of Tapovan Tamas linked to these terms and conditions or contained on this Site constitute the entire agreement between you and Tapovan Tamas relating to your use of this Site and supersede any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written), claims, representations, and understandings of the parties regarding such subject matter. This Agreement may not be amended or modified except by Tapovan Tamas.

Ascension Journeyz Healing Retreat Terms & Conditions 

 

PREPARATION & DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
All Participants should consult their physician regarding their physical fitness level, mental status and any other special conditions they may be working with. It is the Participant’s responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of the program. Before the beginning of the retreat the participant must be in agreement with the dietary restrictions to observe and comply with the preparational cleanse. Two weeks prior to arrival, all participants should refrain from consuming: Recreational drugs, Pharmaceutical medications that were not approved during booking, Bufo alvarious – toad medicines, Alcohol, Caffeine, Salt (a small amount is fine), Sugar, Oily – fried food, Dairy, Meat (other than chicken and fish), Excessive spices, Fermented food, Processed Food, Sexual activity, tyramine-rich foods. If you use supplements with amino acids, these should not contain MAO inhibitors. It’s not necessary to fast rigorously but do drink a lot of water. Best to give up smoking also as NO smoking at the retreat. The food is fresh vegan/vegetarian fully aligned with the above described Ayahuasca Dieta. Meals are light before and after the ceremonies to prepare your system for the medicine work. We also ask you not to use your mobile phone and other electronic devices, (apart from contacting loved ones to ensure them about your safety and wellbeing) and maintain “Digital-Detox” throughout the
entire retreat. DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT. 😉

 

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due upon enrolment to hold your spot. Full payment is required 30 days before the start of the program unless a payment plan has been previously arranged. Please note that if you cancel 29-14 days before the start of the program you will forfeit 50% of the total price and the remaining balance is transferable, can be used as a voucher towards future Retreats. If you cancel 13 days or less before the start of the Retreat, you will forfeit 75% of your entire amount paid and the remaining 25% balance is transferable, and can be used as a voucher towards future Retreats.

Once the Retreat begins the program fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. On the rare occasions when Ascension Journeyz Team (“AJT”) needs to cancel the Retreat, a refund will be provided, however, AJT is not responsible for any costs incurred for travel arrangements or accommodations related to any event. It is your responsibility to purchase travel insurance to protect yourself from any loss due to program cancellations, changes or weather delays. We will not, under any circumstance, reimburse you for airfare or ground transfer expenses. If AJT needs to cancel the retreat due to an unlikely event of extreme weather conditions, natural disaster, pandemic lockdown, or national security threat then you will receive a 50% refund on the initial amount paid.

 

CODES OF CONDUCT
Participants understand that by registering for the Ascension Journey Healing Retreat (AJHR), they certify that they understand that the Facilitators reserve the right to expel any participant from the Retreat; to make changes to the program whenever the Facilitators deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the Participants. Participants must be at least 18 years old to take the Retreat. They agree that Ascension Journeyz Team (AJT) reserves the right at any time to ask any guest to leave the Retreat if the facilitator feels that they pose a risk to the physical safety of the facilitator or other Participants or if they are compromising the learning and healing process of the group, if their behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate, unethical or violates ethical guidelines. Under such circumstances, they agree that they will not be refunded any part of their fees. Participants also agree that they are responsible for assessing their own suitability and capability to participate in the Retreat.

 

RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Ascension Journeyz Team reserves the right to change, alter, or amend the daily itinerary/schedule for each Retreat at any time. Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. Participants agree that AJT is here to serve them by sharing knowledge of yoga, and any related activities to promote exercise and good mental and physical health (“Yoga Activities”). In connection with their participation in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies, they understand, acknowledge and agree as follows: Participation in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies is completely voluntary and it is solely their decision to participate in such activities. The practice of yoga involves physical movement and breathing exercises which may from time to time be strenuous, and that such practice carries some risk of injury. Participants declare to be qualified, in good health and in proper physical condition to participate in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies. They understand that they must judge their own capabilities with respect to practicing yoga at Ascension Journeyz Healing Retreat and will only participate in the appropriate level of classes that are within my limits and capabilities. Participants agree that it is their sole responsibility to confirm that there is no medical or other reason preventing them from participating in the Yoga Activities or Ayahuasca Ceremonies.

If they are pregnant, they shall only participate in the Yoga Activities after they have discussed the potential risks with they obstetrician. They must follow their obstetrician’s advice and instructions about whether and to what extent they can participate in the Yoga Activities. They agree that they (and their spouse/partner, heirs, and guardians) will hold Releasees harmless for any possible injury to myself, my spouse/partner, heirs, guardians and/or my child/fetus.

If participants believe any conditions are unsafe, they will immediately discontinue participation in the Yoga Activities or the Ayahuasca Ceremony. It is their responsibility to inform the Facilitators immediately if an injury occurs in connection with the Yoga Activities. From time to time during Yoga Activities, instructors may physically adjust a student’s form. If they do not want such physical adjustments, they must inform the instructor at the beginning of each session that they attend. They also acknowledge that if they do wish to receive such physical adjustments, it is their responsibility to inform the instructor when they believe an adjustment has gone as far as they desire at that time.

That participation in Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies involves risks of serious bodily injury and possibly death, which may be caused by the Participant’s own actions or inactions or those of others participating in the Yoga Activities. Participants must declare that they are voluntarily participating in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies with full knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree to accept full responsibility for any/ all injury or death, including without limitation, personal, bodily or mental injury, economic loss or any damage that they suffer resulting from the acts of anyone at, or acting on behalf of AJT.

As consideration for participants being permitted to participate in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies, they (and their spouse/partner, heirs, and legal representatives) release AJT and all its Team Members (Tapovan Tamas & Mano Uwishin), its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and assigns and each of their predecessor and successor organizations and each of their current and former principals, instructors, partners, officers, directors, employees, insurers, agents and representatives and the owners/lessors of the premises wherein the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies take place (“Releasees”) from any and all liability and claims for damages arising out of, relating to and/or by reason of my voluntary decision to participate in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies including the use of any equipment or the facilities.

Participants further agree that they (and their spouse/partner, heirs, and legal representatives) will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of AJT or Releases for injury or damage resulting from the negligence, misconduct or other acts or omissions, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, or contractor of AJT as a result of their participation in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies. If any participants, or anyone acting on their behalf, make a claim against any of the Releases, they will indemnify, save and hold harmless each of the Releases from any loss, liability, damage or costs which may incur as a result of such claim. In connection with my participation in the Yoga Activities, participants agree to abide by any reasonable rules and policies of AJHR. Ascension Journeyz Team reserves the right to deny an individual’s participation in the Yoga Activities and Ayahuasca Ceremonies based upon legitimate reasons such as an individual’s failure to follow any specified procedures.
